Uterine Artery Pseudo-aneurysm: Review of Literature
Main Article Content
Abstract
The common causes of secondary primary postpartum hemorrhage are usually retained products of conception and endometritis with
vascular anomaly being a rarer cause. Pseudoaneurysm of the uterine artery or its branches usually develops as a complication of
myomectomy, dilatation and curettage (D and C), and caesarean section. We present a case series of uterine artery pseudoaneurysms
which occurred as complications of caesarean section and D and C, presenting with vaginal bleeding.
